The cat was picked up today by its new owner. According to the Resident Relations manager at the Puzzletown Chateau, it is an exotic cat! Which leads me to wonder, why, oh, why, would you pay several thousand dollars for a cat and then leave it outside on your balcony?
Oh, well.
Happy endings are the best.

Wait – so they were just HOLDING the cat for someone to pick up?! What are they, kittymill people?! I think we should egg their fahncee french doors just for all the angst they put you through.

Monkeygurrl – No, they got the cat, then decided they didn’t want it, I guess. The new owner is actually someone who works for the Chateau, who didn’t want to have to call the Humane Society.
But I’m all for the egging.

All cats are fancy. We have a fancy one that regularly breaks things (the latest an inexpensive, but really pretty green vase) but who could purr for England; one that ambushes me and qualifies for kitty mensa; and one the drags all kinds of things around the house – socks, underwear, pine cones. They shed so much I could knit another cat (if I could knit that well).
